Funn Sizing: XS 34-36, S 37-38, S/M 38/39, M 39/40, M/L 40/41, L 41/42, XL 42/43. Established in 1969 and based just outside Brighton Funn is a proudly elusive family business. The company's aim has never been world domination, adopting the motto 'small is beautiful', they focus on quality. Founded by Karen Huntley, Funn was born out of a need to bring choice to hosiery, which had changed with the introduction of nylon by the 50s. Funn sought to eliminate 'one thousand shades of tan' - the boastful slogan of companies embracing the nylon revolution - and to replace it with hosiery that was colourful, comfortable and made with natural materials. Karen wanted to retain old-style quality in her new venture. She sourced and repaired hosiery machines first introduced in 1915, and now owns some of the only surviving original machines in the country. With a team alongside her, Karen began to produce stockings in a wide range of colours and sizes.
